Birchwood Fun Run/Walk 5K - May 4:

  • This event is a 5 KM fun run/walk from Birchwood Intermediate school in Charlottetown heading to the Confederation trail and then returning back to the school at the 2.5 km mark on the trail. There will be a medal presentation and prizes drawn following the event. The cost per participant is $20, with all proceeds going to Birchwood Intermediate School to help support school programs and students.

Oak Acres Children’s Camp - Counsellor in Training Program:

  • This is an amazing volunteer opportunity for youth ages 14 - 16, who are interested in being a camp counsellor in the future. For part of the summer, the youth will live the camp experience and it can help develop skills such as leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and decision making.
  • Interested students can pick up an application from Mrs. Munn in the guidance area, room 230.  Applications are due by May 17th, 2024.
