According to the Google, here is another literacy fun fact…If you were to look at a classic Sunday comic strip through a microscope, you wouldn’t see solid colors. Instead, you’d see thousands of tiny, overlapping dots called Ben-Day dots.
In recent times, printers only used four colors of ink to create every color in the rainbow:
• Cyan (Blue)
• Magenta (Pink/Red)
• Yellow
• Key (Black)
Why is this a great According to the Google,
• Optical Illusions: Your brain actually does the work for the printer. It sees a bunch of tiny Magenta and Yellow dots close together and "tricks" itself into seeing Orange.
• Modern Connection: This is exactly how LED screens and phone displays work today, just with Red. Green, and Blue (RGB) light pixels instead of ink.
The old with the new! Fascinating trickery!
