According to the Google, On June 2, 1969: Ottawa’s National Arts Centre (NAC) opened its doors. Built as a cornerstone of Canada’s 1967 Centennial celebrations, it has since grown to become one of the most prominent cultural institutions in the country, also establishing the world's first Indigenous Theatre department. This is important to recognize because we are going to be having some live theatre here at Birchwood tonight as The Birchwood Drama Club presents “Order Up!” on Tuesday, June 2, at 6:30pm. Admission is by donation, and food items and personal hygiene products are kindly accepted in support of our local food bank! ALL ARE WELCOME!
