Outdoor Adventure Club:
- The first meeting of the Outdoor Adventure club will take place today at noon in Mr. Dohoo’s room 308. If you are interested in activities like disc golf, hiking, rock climbing, skiing, snowshoeing, tubing, biking, and just having fun in the sun, come on out and learn more about this amazing club. Feel free to bring your lunch!
Fry Cavendish Fry Truck:
- The Fry truck returns, Monday, September 14th at lunch time in the Courtyard. Bring your toonie and get an order of fries.
Lunch time:
- Reminder students are to remain in the cafeteria until 12:05. No food in the hallways or classrooms. Please clean your mess up after you leave the cafeteria. You must be in a designated area by 12:25(gym, library, cafeteria, or outdoors). Classrooms and hallways are not a designated area.
Athletics:
- GOLF:
- Due to an overwhelming amount of interest and huge numbers this year, we’ve had to make a tough decision regarding tryouts. To keep group sizes manageable on the course, tryouts this year will be open to Grade 8 and Grade 9 students only.
- We know this is disappointing news for our Grade 7s who were hoping to come out. We really appreciate your enthusiasm and we may possibly see you at tryouts next year!
- Tee-Times for grade 8 and 9’s are posted by the gym doors. They start at 12:30 You need to confirm you are on the list, You need to arrange your drives and non-members will need to pay $15.

- Soccer:
- Boys and girls soccer tryouts will go Mon, Tues, Wed next week
- Volleyball - Monday & Wednesday
- Boys 2:50 - 4:30, Girls 4:30 - 6
Hockey Academy
- There will be a short Hockey Academy meeting today at 2:30 in the cafeteria for all those interested in participating.
Music:
- Rock Band Auditions - Sign up for an audition just outside the main office. If you play guitar, bass, drums, piano, sing, or play a wind instrument, this could be an opportunity for you. It is open to the whole school! In past years the rock band recorded and released their own original music on Spotify.
- Band Rehearsals: will begin next week.
- Grade 9: Tuesday morning at 7:40
- Grade 8: Thursday morning at 7:40
- Grade 7: Wednesday at lunch.
