Music:
- Rock Band Auditions - Sign up for an audition just outside the main office. If you play guitar, bass, drums, piano, sing, or play a wind instrument, this could be an opportunity for you. It is open to the whole school! In past years the rock band recorded and released their own original music on Spotify.
- Band Rehearsals: will begin this week.
- Grade 9: Tuesday morning at 7:40 (tomorrow!)
- Grade 8: Thursday morning at 7:40
- For morning rehearsals, please enter through the gym doors until further notice.
- Grade 7: Wednesday at lunch.
Fry Truck: The Fry Truck will be in the Court Yard at lunch. Bring your $2 and get an order of fries!!

- Due to an overwhelming amount of interest and huge numbers this year, we’ve had to make a tough decision regarding tryouts. To keep group sizes manageable on the course, tryouts this year will be open to Grade 8 and Grade 9 students only.
- We know this is disappointing news for our Grade 7s who were hoping to come out. We really appreciate your enthusiasm and we may possibly see you at tryouts next year!
- Tee-Times for grade 8 and 9’s are posted by the gym doors. Tryouts are Wednesday, September 16 and tee times start at 12:30. You need to confirm you are on the list, You need to arrange your drives and non-members will need to pay $15. If you are not attending please also let us know.
- Any students who do not have their tryout forms in will not be able to attend and there are number of you on this list. Looks like we’re missing forms from: Quinn, AJ, Connor Blanche, Sully, Hudson, Austin, Cam B, Austin. Pop down to the gym to grab another one or drop it off to the bin. Thank you! - Boys and girls soccer tryouts will go Mon, Tues, Wed 2:50 - 4:30
- Field Hockey:
- Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Pick up at UPEI 4:20pm
- Boys Volleyball:
- Monday and Wednesday 2:50pm - 4:30pm
- Girls Volleyball:
- Monday and Wednesday 4:30pm - 6:00pm (doors will open at 4:15pm to get ready).
Terry Fox Run:
- Our annual Terry Fox run/walk will be held on Friday, Sept 25th. A toonie for Terry is our theme and each student please donate $2.00 and your homeroom teacher can collect this please. There will be a short Terry Fox meeting in Mr. James’ at 250 for those interested.
Ice Cream Treats will be on sale in the cafeteria on Thursday at lunchtime. $1.00 each, cash only.
