Spirit Week Oct. 25-29:

  • Monday is pj/comfy clothes day. Get out all of your cozy clothes and be comfy all day long!
  • Tuesday will be cobra spirit day, so pull out all of your green and yellow cobra attire, and show some cobra spirit!
  • Wednesday we're going to be seeing double all day because it's twin day! Grab your friend and become twins for the day!
  • Thursday  we’re time travelling back to the 80’s for a throwback Thursday! Pull out your leg warmers and neon colours on Thursday!
  • Friday it's going to be Halloween day! Wear your costumes or just dress in orange and black. 
  • We also have a door decorating contest starting up! The deadline to have your door decorated will be Wednesday, the 27th and they will be judged Thursday, the 28th!
  • Band:  

Band:

  • Grade 9 band meets tomorrow morning at 7:45am for rehearsal.  
  • Grade 7 woodwinds meet tomorrow at lunch for rehearsal.  

Outdoor adventure club:

  • The outdoor adventure club will meet today at 12 noon in the art room. All students interested in this week’s outing are asked to attend to sign up! Don’t forget to wear your mask.

Athletics: Please pay your athletic fee!  Written notices were handed around to all who owe $20.

  • Congrats on winning the Kevin Campbell Memorial Tournament!  The team went 5-0 on the weekend and won in the finals over EWS.  Birchwood has not had a championship winning AA Girls Volleyball team in 20-30 years.  We’re going back into the archives to find out!  Practice Today, host SIS Tuesday in a playoff game tomorrow
