- Grade 9 Band Students: Our Halloween concert featuring Birchwood, Stonepark, and Charlottetown Rural is coming up in a couple of weeks. After today’s rehearsal we only have 2 left to be sure we are ready.
Holland College:

Congratulations to Emily Fillon, Jessica Murphy, Misha Klimes, Violet MacCallum, and Maddy Parsons. They captured Gold at the Atlantic Cup Challenge this weekend as part of the U14 team. Great job, girls!

- AB: Game at East Whiltshire today at 4. Meet in Mr. Chaisson’s room at break to sort out drives for today’s game.
- Volleyball:
- AG 2 host Vernon River at 4:30 today. Scorekeepers are Gwen and Gavin.

- Cross country:
- PEISAA Provincials - Grade 9 is Thurs, Oct 15th at Charlottetown Rural and Grade 7&8 is Oct 17 at Mill River. All runners were given a notice with all information and a copy of their schedule. Levi - please pick up your notice from the whiteboard in the gym.
- Grade 9 runners - you will get your uniform on Thursday morning before you leave.
- Bantams - you will get your uniforms on Thurs or Fri. Listen to announcements
- The Fun Cobra Poll is Back - Scan the QR codes that you an find around the school and let’s see where Birchwood students and staff stand on different issues. Friday will be our turn around day with results being shared and a new set of questions published. This week, when you scan, you’ll find some Halloween questions.
Clubs:
- Print and Paint Club:
- Print and Paint will not be tomorrow. We have to order some new paints. Meet up next week.
- Yearbook:
- No meeting this week.
- Reminder to order your book before our sale ends october 23rd, $35. After that, they will be $40. When you order a personalized copy you also get 4 free icons with purchase if ordered before the 23rd. Cash can also be brought to Miss McGill or Mme Wilson.

- Outdoor adventure club:
- There is no outdoor adventure club outing this week, therefore there will not be a meeting at lunch today.
- Ice Cream Treats:
- Will be on sale in the cafeteria on Thursdays at lunchtime. $1.00 each, cash only. Freezies will be on sale also. Freezies and ice cream treats are to be eaten in the cafeteria or outside.
- A quick reminder to grade 8 students that your breakfast program table is set up in the main lobby. Grade 7 & 9 breakfast program tables are on their grade level floors.
- Leadership:
- There will be a meeting at break in the library for all grade 9 leadership students.
- Friday is Cobra Colors Day. Wear your Cobra colors and enjoy the pep rally during last period.
