According to the Milano Cortina Olympic Schedule, what is Canada doing today?  We see the Opening Ceremonies today in Italy.  Exciting times for some of the 206 athletes that make up Canada’s Team. According to the Google, today is National Tater Tot Day.  If you want to enjoy this delicious potato snack, you should cook them at 425 for 25 minutes in the oven or for 10-12 minutes at 400 in an airfryer.  Oh and if you don’t know what Tater Tots are, that might be because you eat the McCain version which are referred to as Tasti Taters.  Same thing…just corporate branding!

According to the Google - There are two days to celebrate today because they “go together” like a “tasty treat”.  It’s National Puzzle Day and National Corn Chip day.  Reminds me of simpler times when you’d invite your friends over, throw on a movie, make a puzzle and have some snacks.  I like 3D puzzles.  I’ve done the Taj Mahal, Sydney Opera House, Notre Dame Cathedral. According to the Google today is National Kazoo Day.  Now you might think that the Kazoo is only used in childrens songs and clown acts, but artists like The Grateful Dead, Eric Clapton, and Pink Floyd have used Kazoo’s in their music.  It’s even on Spotify.  I searched for Kazoo music today and found 4 songs, so today while you transition to classes after birthdays, you’re going to hear The Final Countdown on Kazoo.

According to the Google, today is National Bubble Wrap Day.  Back in 1956, two engineers created bubble wrap by sealing two shower curtains together creating a smattering of air bubbles and thought their creation would make a great wallpaper! However, sales for the wallpaper never materialized.  Today, bubble wrap's primary purpose is to protect fragile items either in shipping or storage. Of course, people also take enjoyment from popping the bubbles in bubble wrap, too.
