According to the Google, there is no direct connection between the start of angling season on PEI, which is today, and Wrestlemania but there is this legal story about WWE star Brock Lesnar. In 2011,Lesnar was charged with several hunting and fishing infractions in Alberta, Canada. The legal trouble stemmed from a trip where he was accused of failing to properly tag a mule deer and for possessing a fishing license as a non-resident of the province. He eventually pleaded guilty to the tagging charge, paid a $1,725 fine, and was banned from hunting in Alberta for six months.Bad Brock. Bad Bad Brock! Make sure you know the rules folks.
Athletics:
Triathlon - You can compete as an individual (complete all three disciplines) or as a three person relay (one swimmer, one biker, one runner) Please see Mrs. Steele today for information on how to sign up and to pick up a permission form. The triathlon will be held on May 18th in Summerside.
Spring Sports - Our spring sport season has arrived and students are asked to sign up for the sports they are interested in trying out for.
- Flag football for boys and girls,
- Softball for girls
- Track and field for boys and girls.
Sign up for the events you would like to try. Please take a permission form and return it before the try outs next week.
