  • Grade 8 and 9 students who are going on the band trip will rehearse tomorrow morning at 7:45am.

Birchwood Fun Run/Walk 5K - May 4:

  • This event is a 5 KM fun run/walk from Birchwood Intermediate school in Charlottetown heading to the Confederation trail and then returning back to the school at the 2.5 km mark on the trail. There will be a medal presentation and prizes drawn following the event. The cost per participant is $20, with all proceeds going to Birchwood Intermediate School to help support school programs and students.

Congratulations to the Birchwood Boys Badminton team as they put on a dominant performance at the badminton provincials Saturday in Summerside.  Jason Guo picked up a second place in singles.   While Colin MacCormack and Jason won Bantam boys doubles play.  In Intermediate boys play, Leo Li won the singles title.   While Peter and Bruce Dong took home the doubles title, winning over Leo LI and his partner Rex Zhang.   Giving Birchwood Boys Badminton the provincial title.

Oak Acres Children’s Camp - Counsellor in Training Program:

  • This is an amazing volunteer opportunity for youth ages 14 - 16, who are interested in being a camp counsellor in the future. For part of the summer, the youth will live the camp experience and it can help develop skills such as leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and decision making.
  • Interested students can pick up an application from Mrs. Munn in the guidance area, room 230.  Applications are due by May 17th, 2024.
