Birchwood Fun Run/Walk 5K - May 4:
- This event is a 5 KM fun run/walk from Birchwood Intermediate school in Charlottetown heading to the Confederation trail and then returning back to the school at the 2.5 km mark on the trail. There will be a medal presentation and prizes drawn following the event. The cost per participant is $20, with all proceeds going to Birchwood Intermediate School to help support school programs and students.

ArtsSmarts Opening Exhibit at Confederation Center:
- Over 150 Birchwood students participated in the ArtsSmarts program this year. The Opening Exhibit will be held at the Confederation Center of the Arts on Tuesday, May 22, at 6:00PM. Everyone is welcome. Thank you to Frances Ann Squire, Scott MacKay, and Island artists Tricia MacNeil Baldwin and Becca Griffin for all of their work.

- Wrestling:
- Good luck to all wrestlers competing at provincials on Saturday. Wrestling for Bantam and Intermediate won’t begin before 11am. Please arrange to be warming up no later than 10:30. Since we are hosting, it would be great to see some Cobras here for the start of the day!
- Badminton:
- Congratulations to Leo Li and Jason Guo as they qualified for PROVINCIAL badminton finals next week in Summerside.
- All Players going to provincials are asked to meet with Mr. MacVicar in the gym at lunch break.
EAL: There are no EAL classes this week. Good luck to all EAL students with their EAL tests!
